Photographer's Note
Earth Day 2007 celebrations at the University of Vermont (UVM) on April 20, 2007. My co-workers and I walked to the center of campus to see what's what and to have some maple taffy on snow. On our way back to the office, I noticed this tree which was covered with empty coffee cups. The symbol of the cups is to raise awareness of how much waste we generate everyday by consuming beverages using these throw away cups.
