Photographer's Note
We had an airshow in Burlington, Vermont after a six year absent. The last airshow held here was in 2000. The airshow was held over a two day period. On Saturday, they had the flying demonstrations over Lake Champlain at the Waterfront. The treat of the event was an air diaplay by the Thunderbirds. On Sunday, they had the static show at the Air National Guard Base, also known as the Green Mountain Boys Air Base. The 158th Fighter Wing is stationed here and they fly F-16 fighter jets. They had many different aircrafts on display here for the airshow, such as the F-16, F-15E, F-14, Harrier, A-10 Warthog, KC135 Refueler, Mustangs, prop planes, a Coast Guard helicopter, and many more.
Unfortunately, it rained on both days and the clouds were dark and grey most of the time. It was difficult to take good pictures due to the nasty weather conditions.
I'll probably create a theme for this airshow and add more pictures over time.

Hi Harjit-
I'm certainly a fan of airshows and this is a pretty decent capture. However, I think this might be a C-17, made by Boeing. The runway threshold marker and windsock look a little bit blurry, but the aircraft looks fairly sharp (cropping?). I really like how you can see the downwash from the wing spraying up water as the climbout begins.

C17... gosh it's rare for me to see this plane.
I'm going to be short in this critique as I am going to bed soon.
Quality is far from the best and that is really the reason for me not giving max points.
I simply love the sight of this marvel of engineering, isn't "Globemaster" the name it got?
If I'm not mistaking this plane is able to utilize just simple dirt airstrips for it's deliveries.

Hi Harjit,
A good POV and composition of this C17 taking off taken under difficult weather conditions. I am a fan of aviation for many years. Thanks for sharing.
