Photographer's Note

I pulled into the parking lot of a go-go bar to photograph something entirely different... but as I pulled out to leave, I noticed this travelling political "editorial" parked in odd juxtaposition with the sign. I thought, how typically American. I hope the driver enjoyed his lunch :)

So what did you pull into the Go-Go bar to photograph originally?? Last time I tried to take pictures in one, they said no cameras :)

Actually, i absolutely love the combination of signs... it exemplifies America. This thing in the bottom left corner is not so good.

Nice social comment... every now and then you see something like that, and if you are very lucky, you'll have your camera ready.

Lisa, this is a good shot with a great shot within it. Narayan is exactly right. The left lower corner detracts as does the space just to the right of the sign. Play around with cropping this one and I think you will like the results.

Well I must say I agree with this poor guy who feels his tax dollars are gong to waste. This guy must realize that we are in a different world though. of course you will find corruption in politics all over the world. But it is nice to see s sign like this to keep in mind that its our money they are spending. Good capture Lisa . Thanks for sharing!

Free country to clutter landscape with all kinds of commercial signs... But this guy uses his freedom to something completely different!

This is somehow a political picture of a political board. The editorial on the board is silly and maybe typicaly american, but, yes, it's great to live in a country where you can say what you want about the government...

Anyway, the contrast with the other board is very, very funny.

great shot I love all of the messages within this shot, but I wish the go-go sign was all there.

on second thought it might be a cool way of showing which of these two signs is your focal point. my eyes are definitley focused on the political sign and then I notice the go-go sign as an afterthought, which might be exactly your point.

I have to think about it some more.
