Modern Towers of Pittsburgh

As a sequel to my previous photo Historic Towers of Pittsburgh, here’s one with some more modern towers, even though I am aware that such modern architecture is usually less popular. Nevertheless, here’s a streetscape from central Pittsburgh, taken when the day was at its sunniest.

This photo was taken on the corner of Market Street, 6th Street, and Liberty Avenue, in the Central Business District of Pittsburgh, also known as the Golden Triangle. The tallest glass tower is Two PNC Plaza, 136 metres tall and completed in 1976. The red building half behind it is K&L Gates Center, 156 metres talles and completed in 1968.
