Photographer's Note
A shot of the Smithfield Street Bridge, illuminated for nighttime. This was taken from behind Station Square, the site of the old Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad terminal which has been converted to a shopping and activities center on the South shore of the Monogahela River. You can see bits of ice floating near the shore; it has been quite cold here for the past few weeks.

Hello Sandy,
The lights of bridges are amazing again. I liked your clear night capture under difficult conditions, the reflections on river surface and matted layer of floating ices are wonderful. Congratulations.
Best Regards,

Hello Sandy:
I can see clearly the blocks of ice floating on the surface of the river close to the shore. It does show that the weather was cold on those days. I like also the picture almost at night. It is not completely dark, because the sky is still dark blue, but the lights of the city, and of the bridge are already on.
Good work.
Regards,
Jürgen
