Photographer's Note
Rising majestically at the end of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, the Philadelphia Museum of Art stands among the great art institutions of the world and one of the most recognizable buildings in the Philadelphia area.
Sylvester Stallone immortalized the museum in the first film in 1976 with a triumphant run up its steps as Rocky, his fists pumping in the air as he got to the top, accompanied by the exultant Rocky theme.

Hi Andre,
Very well shot. The colours and contrast have come out so well. The water looks solid due to the exposure and is reflecting the lights very well. Crisp and detailed image.
Congrats!

Dear Mr Roberge,
I wonder...only 3 people before me made a comment on this picture. What do the people on TE expect? These kind of pictures are very difficult to make. Not the scenery, that is easy (beacuse it's there) but the light, how you control that in a 30 sec exposure...not easy, and only can be done with knowledge and high class gear. And yes the 5D is the Queen of the night. Absolute wonderful these colours in the sky and that reflection in the water.
This picture really deserves more attention.
Wonderful photo my friend...a real good one.
Have a nice day, Henk

Bonjour André
très jolie prise nocturne. J'apprécie la qualité de la photo et la bonne maitrise de l'exposition. Et puis merci pour ces souvenirs avec cette scène de Rocky et de son cri déchirant "Adrienne!".
amicalement

Your titles kill me! :) But it also made me miss the stairs a bit. ;) Perfect capture once again my friend. This time nothing to complain about the 30s exposure. Perfect aperture and perfect output. Detail is amazing and the light reflected in the water is a bliss. These pink hues are amazing. You use filters to achieve that or you just play with the color temp? Love it!

Ugh, another unfortunate sky eh?
Just kidding of course. I don't know how you achieve these pink and purple skies, but I love them. Excellent work here Andre. You always find the best angle to photograph architecture. I've never been to the East Coast of the USA, but photos like this and your photos of NYC and Washington DC make me want to plan a trip.
Regards,
Ryan
P.S. Great title too.

Hi Andre,
You management of the night lights here is perfect. I love the colours especially the purply tones. Nice sharpness and details. But the lights reflections in the wide foreground are what makes it great for me.

Hi Andre,
Another great shot of a staple "American" structure! This one is right in the neck of my own woods, I live and work about 30 mins from Philadelphia. The colors are just wonderful! I love the pink, purple, and gold colors, they work really well together here. I like the blurred reflection, it makes the ripples in the water appear more prominent. And of course, great composition!
Thanks,
Liz
