Photographer's Note

It is a tradition at Geneva for the marching band to play for the faculty at the closing of faculty workshop. In normal years, they then march off campus and play for the neighborhood, as well. This year, they limited their marching to the campus only. You can see the musicians who were not blowing into instruments were wearing masks. It was good to hear them again, which hinted at some semblance of normalcy.

The tents you see in the background are usually set up for events like graduation or homecoming. However, this year, they have been set up as an extension to the cafeteria. Because of social distancing rules, the cafeteria cannot seat all the students during the lunch hour. So students can take their lunches out and eat under these tents. I don't know how this arrangement will work once the weather gets cold.
