Photographer's Note
Mountain of Gold, this is Whiteface Mountain, home of the ski events in the 1932 and 1980 winter Olympic Games. The mountain is also the annual venue for several ski competitions. As you can also see, the moutain takes a gold colour in fall. The ski center has the highest vertical drop of the north east with 3430 feet (1045m).
Took this picture with f/16 and tripod for a good DOF. In PP, I cloned out a light post, ajusted the levels in RAW, converted to JPEG and resized for posting.

Nice play between the words of the title, the colors in the picture and finally the motive. The foliage looks golden, but the triumps lived out here in 1932 and 1980 were also golden. The inclusion of the plate on the left corner and the diagonal oriented flags on the right side are a good add to this picture.
