Photographer's Note

Central Park, New York, a couple of weeks before Christmas. The lake here, just to the left of the Plaza Hotel, was more or less completely frozen over.
I especially liked the colour of the trees in this area, and so thought it deserved to be photographed! The contrast with the 21st Century buildings in the background just goes to show how random it is having this beautiful park in the middle of one of the busiest cities in the world.
