Photographer's Note
I took this photo from the "Top of the Rock" (at the top of Rockefeller Center). It was a clear and very cold night. New York City is a special place that I can't compare to any other place I have been. I used a free trial of Photoshop to sharpen the image. Did I sharpen it too much? I appreciate all comments and critiques!

i really like the way the lights go off into the horizon. the lights create some great patterns too. unfortunately though, the number of lights means that we lose some of the depth of the shot. all the lights seem to blend into one layer, especially in the foreground. it's a good idea though. well done!

Hello Dana,
I like this night view. The colors of the Empire State Building stand out well against the black night sky. I know it has been really cold lately, and I can see the steam coming out of one of the buildings. I never get tired of this view. :-)

this is a nice night shot.
yes, i think you oversharpened it a bit.
to get more lights, you could use longer exposure, e.g. 5 seconds.

Nice shot ! I don't think you push too hard on Photoshop. This picture is very good.
