Photographer's Note

We stopped in St. Patrick's Cathedral because it was freezing outside and I was stunned at the architecture of it. It's gorgeous and quite large. I walked and read the whole thing in about an hour. Then I just sat down and took it all in. I love the ceiling and columns with their detail.
It was very crowded with people. I don't know if that's normal or because it was the week around St. Pat's Day.
i couldn't bring a tripod on my trip so this is taken leaning on the pew in front of me. i'm not sure the exposure. i bracketed from 3 seconds to 1/2 second. this is one of the only ones that was sharp enough to post so it's probably the 1/2 sec. i tried sharpening it but it just got grainier. i did use noise ninja but that didn't seem to help. anyone want to try and help me out here?
