great shot i would love to have taken this photo ny has to be a great place for photography just so much to shot color beautiful color the only thing iwould do is alittle cropping the sky or the river just a bit that would make the skyline more dominent.

great picture. for me, the water's part is usefull when you can see a reflection.

You did a nice picture here especially with a good balanced framing but the picture needs some more elements to be more interesting.
By waiting a different moment with a lower light or with the light in your back you could have benefit from more reflection on the water. It also would have improved the composition a lot to include another element on the foreground or a boat navigating in front of the bay.
Keep shooting until you find the right event !

Nothing like the nyc skyline...its a nice shot. as a tip for improvement I would say that there is too much water in the picture which really does nothing. If you want to get as much of the skyline as possible I would just crop the picture down with maybe a little less sky and a lot less water... just a suggestion :)
