Photographer's Note

The view means a lot to me and I have been lucky several times in my life to have beautiful views from my windows.

I decided to take this picture to make an addition to the same name theme.

This is a view from a conference room, that we usually use and it is close to my office. I will make a confession now: during the meetings I always try to sit at a place that has the view, in order to have a chance to enjoy something, just in case the meeting becomes either too long, or even boring... :)))

Have you recognized the place? This is the famous Plaza hotel in New York City.

But this is almost nothing in comparison to the view that I used to have in downtown Manhattan (right across the steet from the former World Trade Center)! The view from the 13th floor was to the mouth of the Hudson river with Verrazano bridge (the best in these places) and Immigration Museum on the Ellis Island - STUNNING, especially in the clear weather! And this was my first office job in America, can you believe it?!
Who wouldn't be thrilled?

The continuation of the story is as follows:
in a couple of weeks they moved me to a room with NO view without any explanation and somebody else occupied that office, the manager's secretary and friend, as far as I know... :( But I still enjoyed working in that company.

I can say that THERE ARE really interesting views from the windows of tall buildings in New York... and stories, associated with them.
