Photographer's Note

Back in “Little Ukraine”, I revisited the restaurant that I showed in a previous post, and also stopped by other cultural sites in the area. My previous photo was taken nine years ago, but things haven’t changed too much.

Here again is “Veselka”, a Ukrainian eatery that has been around since 1954. My previous view was taken around the corner where there’s a mural, but this is the front of the restaurant. You can see all the old tenements reflected in the windows.

Other sites in the neighborhood include: St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church, The Ukrainian Museum, the Shevchenko Scientific Society, and the Ukrainian Cultural Center.

In the WS are two of those spots.

May there be peace in Ukraine in the very near future…
