Photographer's Note

The Oculus is a huge structure and main station house of the World Trade Center Station.

Designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, the $4 billion structure consists of white ribs that interlock high above the ground. The interior of the station house contains two underground floors, which house part of the Westfield World Trade Center mall.

The architected projected in Rio de Janeiro the newly Tomorrow Museum.

Hello Andre,
I really like the Oculus. A photographer can spend hours taking photos inside and still find new compositions. This is a nice view from the lower level. The floor is so white that it resembles an ice skating rink. :-) Calatrava’s design is great, and your photo shows a lot of the details. Take care!
