Photographer's Note

Continuing with my brief trip to Manhattan earlier this week, my first stop was Times Square. I wanted to document the many billboards that were showing messages of gratitude and hope.

This spot is just north of Forty Second street, where the ball drops every New Year's Eve. There are usually huge crowds here, and I usually avoid walking around this area. Last Monday, there seemed to be more police than actual visitors in Times Square.

After I took this photo honoring nurses, I noticed another message that's perfect for these strange days we've been living through. Can you spot it, too? :-)

In the WS is another unusual sight. Take care everyone!
