Photographer's Note

I have mentioned it before on my New York City posts, just how impressed and surprised I was by the modern architecture in the big City.

If you want to see new modern buildings surrounded by older ones, take a walk along the High Line in Manhattan, located on the south-west side.

Here we can see this new High Rise Condo in the fg, and in the bg are the classic Water Towers that sit up on the older buildings. Another surprise were the number of water towers all over the city, just like that - sitting ontop of it when i'm surprised like that. In all the TV shows and advertisements about NYC, i've never seen water towers before.

So here we have an example of Old and New in New York City.

Thanks for looking.
