Photographer's Note

The pop band, The Police, announced their final concert ever will take place in New York City this summer. The proceeds of the concert will benefit public television. The band is also donating a large sum of money to plant trees around the city.

Sting, the leader of the group and a well-known environmentalist, spoke here at a press conference in Times Square earlier this month.

I did some serious work on this photo. See Workshop One to see the original.

Hey Hugh! He looks like Indiana Jones, with the hat and the short beard ! But he also has something from Sean Connery. That's funny! (Or I am too addicted to cinema and should stop watching movies and quit my job?)
You really made a good PP work on this one! And that's a great idea to show us the original version in workshop. It's sharpened and you improved the texture. Nice work! I like the movement and the expression of conviction you captured.

nice work on pp, Hugh, one just does not realize there would be a bald head disturbing the attention.
scalp surgery is great ;)
excellent light control. even in ws 2, where we see all elements are under full light in white hairs, those areas are not blown out, neither Sting´s face is underexposed.
