Photographer's Note

For some reason this photo has always reminded me of Jasmis (who, by the way, has posted a brilliant one today.)

Not sure why. But there you go.

Let me also add that for those of us who live in the infamous "Ground Zero" of the "War on Terror" it is still mildly disturbing to see passenger jets flying directly over lower Manhattan. After September 11, 2001, commercial aircraft were forbidden from flying over the city. But gradually they have returned. And sometimes, you will see one fly over very low indeed. And, well, the trauma is still there. And, as we all know, a lot of people feel that trauma everyday, from Wall Street to Iskandariyah.

Safe travels, everyone!
