Graffiti City

Back from my 14 day trip through England and Wales with a lovely meeting with Bev, Len and Claude, I have time to continue the CAN-USA travelogue.

Meetings with TE members are among the added value of Trek Earth. The English, French, Dutch meeting on 2 June last was another very successful example of this. The accompanying photos will follow later. This year I hope to meet the (almost) young father Craig again in Vancouver and in October more TE members at the meeting in the Netherlands organized by Vivian.

But first continuing New York. As an introduction to our meeting with Brenda, who was dominated by the many graffiti in the Bowery neighbourhood. But first, to get in the right mood, three photos other graffiti examples that were taken from the Manhattan Bridge. Walking from Manhattan to Brooklyn, before you are above East River you will see a beautiful graffiti landscape on the roofs of the adjacent houses. Here you will find Graffiti in its purest form.
(On the main picture you cab see my name on the Graffiti but I can assure you that I wasn’t the artist.)
