Everything is Love

A visit to Times Square, New York is a fascinating experience. The attention is drawn by the large amount of tourists, the costumed characters and other eccentric figures but the most
by the large amount of electronic billboard, neon signs and LED illumination.
It brings an ever-changing explosion of colour and movement that continues to capture your eye.
The impressive architecture of the skyscrapers around Times Square disappears into the background.
Therefore some extra attention to the architecture around Times Square, starting with 5 Time Square, the headquarters of Ernst & Young.

The 175 m high building was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and was put into use in 2002.
The dynamic asymmetrical shapes of the tower are inspired by the break in the street gird caused by the diagonal intersection of Broadway and is a response to the zoning demands of the Times Square sub-district.
The tower is a steel construction with a glass curtain wall.

Fortunately, the billboard with the promotion of the new album by The Carters, “Everything is Love” was unavoidable when photographing the tower.
“Everything is Love” is a collaborative studio album by American singer Beyoncé and rapper Jay-Z, billed as the Carters, their surnames by marriage. It was released on June 16, 2018,

BennyV always gives his TE photos the title of a song. Although I do not know whether he likes Beyoncé and Jay-Z, I would like to dedicate this post to him.
