Photographer's Note
Old and weather battered guardian to Burnt Coat Harbor on Swans Island, Maine. The house is called Hockcomock Point lighthouse and is scheduled for rehab. The grounds is a great place for a picnic.

Hi Tom,
I really like this compo; its well framed with tthe lighthouse and the lightkeeper's house against the great sky. the detail and color is excellent as well. I did a little WS to straighten the lighthouse.

Hello Tom,
Wonderful photo of the lighthouse and the keepers home! Lighthouse is a bit off but hey....that is easy to fix. I love the contrast between the white of the lighthouse and and the grayness of the house. Very good eye!
Take care,

Hello Tom! This one here is well seen. I actually like the little tilt of the lighthouse and the angle you took looking up helps to accentuate the sky. I might consider cropping the pines entering the scene on right but that is a knit-pick.
Well done!
Doug
