Photographer's Note
Riverside Park runs from the front steps of the Maine State House down to the Kennebec River. In fall, the leaves from the maple and oak that line its paths blanket the ground in yellow, red and brown.
Unfortunately, as I passed through the park there were heavy clouds beyond the building giving me less than ideal light; however I was able to catch some of the leaves falling from the trees as they floated down.

Hi andrew, this is such an ambitious plan to show all the State Houses. You must visit all the states, traveling some thousands kilometers, how many of them you visited already? It is a bit funny that they are so similar. Usually a dome with a lantern on it. Superb composition here, so symmetrical, with beautiful light.
Warm regards

Hello Andrew,
This is great symmetrical compositional taken with a simply perfect sense of depth. Like it very much. Sharpness and exposure were executed well. TFS.

Hello Andrew,
I like your POV with the grass alley giving deepness toward this beautiful building. The yellow leaves carpet adds color and the falling leaves are like birds flying around. The colors are well saturated under the cloudy sky with good sharpness.
Best regards

Hi Andrew
lovely autumnal shot of this magnificent building. Love the falling leaf that just emphasises the atmosphere of the season so eloquently. Well done!
Have a great weekend - Brian.

Hi Andrew,
Exactly what those who planted these trees pictured in their minds all those years ago, a perfect shot of this fine building. I love the splash of yellow in the foreground that gives really good depth to the foreground, and the catching the leaves like this is a class idea. Another fine capital!
All the best

excellent framing. I liked the diagonals of trees opening and leting see the building ahead. very nice the detail of the golden leaves flying in the air. nice job.
interesting how each american state has a state house with a similar design imitating the washington capitolium.
