Photographer's Note

A helpful hint yesterday suggested that another view of the falls at Fonferek's Glen might help to more clearly establish and define a sense of place.

The scene is a rustic Brown County park, and, as the county web site notes: "Fonferek's Glen is a 74-acre geological gem featuring a 30-foot waterfall, limestone cliffs and stone archway. Located along Bower Creek in the Town of Ledgeview, this park also includes 30 acres of former agricultural fields that have been planted to native trees and prairie."

Although this spot is very rural, it's little more than a 20-minute drive from downtown Green Bay.
