Photographer's Note
Here is my entry for the Scavenger Hunt for "Something Orange". I was lucky enough to catch an orange butterfly on a Chihuly glass sculpture at the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio. The glass tower is shades of red, orange and yellow blown glass pieces and stands over 16 feet tall. Not only are the colors vibrant, the glass has many different textures which make it interesting. The artist is Dale Chihuly and his creations can be seen in more than 200 museums worldwide. No adjustments were made on the picture. Stay tuned for more pictures of Chihuly glass sculptures!

Incredible photo, interestingly organic, and great complementary colors to the required orange, topped by an informative note - well done.

Good catch, but I have problem with the colour, the nuterfly and the background are in the same colour.

What a magnificent photo Donna! Spactacular colors, with the butterfly blending in beautifully. Very well done!

Very good entry, Donna, and indeed one of the most orange shots I've seen in this category so far. The glass sculpture makes a fine and beautifully shaped background for the orange butterfly to rest on. Nice light setting in this photo, well done.

Very nice composition. I like the red background contrasting the glass. Also you captured a sharp butterfly.
