Photographer's Note
The main road through Scotts Bluff National Monument was known as the Oregon Trail back in the 1800s. Scotts Bluff was one of the many landmarks along the historic trail which ran about 2,000 miles from Missouri to the Willamette Valley in Oregon.

Hi Greg
we don't get to see a constant posting of photos from Nebraska on TE!! So this one is certainly a welcome sight.
its cool to see how the photo expands at the very bottom, almost as if its opening up like a tent.
wonderful colors in the sky, it has the look and feel of a painting. smart use of perspective, depth, and lines.
PS
the baseball season is about to start! you getting up for it?
cheers

Hello, interesting view of the Bluff, with a wonderfully colorful sky. Road trips are great chances for photographic opportunities.
Nice vertical image with the road leading our eye into the image.

Howdy Gregory,
Interesting artistic view of Scott's Bluff, with the blacktop dominating and its central yellow stripe, and the saturated colors.
Today's Oregon Trails are automobile dominate, yet many highways follow historical pioneer wagon paths, and before that, Native America trails.
Thanks for sharing,
Cheers,
Ray

Hi Greg
Amazing colours and light here. The road leads the viewer's eye nicely towards the rocks and created a sense of depth and perspective.
Best wishes
Kat
