Photographer's Note
This is a view of Lake Michigan from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. This picture was taken approximately 450 feet below this picture from yesterday. Although signs are posted warning visitors to be cautions going down to the lake, there is usually an endless stream of people heading down. We happened to visit at a relatively calm time.

Hi Amber,
I think I get an ideia why this picture was not much commented or rated. It's such a nice composition, with the very good depth of field. The problem is the pixalizarion on the sky and around the flying bird, it's an unfortunate draw back here. A real pity cause the scenery is really wonderfull.

A nice compositon with good colors for the beach and the sea. but I concur with Flavia, there is a strange effect in the sky and background which deserves the picture a little. For me, it looks more like a blurring effect han pixelisation though.
All the best,
Emmanuel

Hi Amber,
Lovely view of this fresh water play ground that could be easily mistaken for a great ocean. The gulls give a nice bit of definition and depth and I like your POV that leads to the distant cliffs.
Regards, Tom
