Photographer's Note
This is a photo my Mom took in about 1943. The little one in the photo is me. My Dad, home from teaching at Hayden High School in Hayden, Indiana. My brother has the straw hat. I remember that '38 Ford and the new car we got in 1956, a Chevy. This photo was on our farm on Hwy. 50 in southern Indiana. (The Year box goes only back to 1950)

Hi, Carl,
I like this photo of that time. It's good to know, people were as happy as they are today:)
It must be quite interesting to have a look at oneself back in the time:)

The picture is not nice (overexposed, centered) but rewarding because it is very old. They do not have electronic devices in those days!

I don't actually care about the poor quality of the picture (some 65 agos technology could not cope with nowadays' one!)
but it's true..it's a milestone of your youth...a blast from the past..and therefore interesting and rewarding
happy easter
