Photographer's Note

This is my Friday the 13th shot... please have a lovely one :-) For those of you who do not know the significance of Friday the 13th: In the US it is generally considered a day of potential evil and bad luck. Go figure.

This fine beacon stands outside the backdoor of my office building regulating not-so-evil train traffic. Trains go by all day long: Metra suburban commuter trains, Amtrak inter-urban trains and freight trains. All on the same tracks. The line is part of the Chicago Northwestern Line if that geeks anyone out :-)

Rain, thus the multiplication of the red light. Night shot, adjusted curves very slightly, articulated the colors a bit with H/S and used NeatImage. No cropping or anything else. Voila.
