Was searching for what to post, and found this photo from my old shots. The sky was getting cleared after a quick shower, and the light from the setting sun was creating beautiful hues. At below, Chicago was getting ready for another frenzy summer night.

Hi Sourav,

This is a beautiful shot with the city lights below and a gorgeous sunset on the horizon. The colours are amazing and the details of the city are great. Beautiful composition and well captured!

I would have added a little more saturation and then run it through NeatImage to get rid of some of the noise. So, I hope you don't mind that I am posting a workshop on this photo.

Million of sunsets on TE alone..And yet - yours Sourav, ceased the day in a charming adagio style.

Holy Cow! What a sky! I think the white frame suits the shot very very well.

Only thing that would have made it a better shot is if the land portion was more interesting.

It certainly is a beautiful sky you have captured here, but I have to admit I think the foreground needs to be more interesting if you are to call it Chicago sunset....I was expecting to see the Sears tower or the Hancock building.
