Photographer's Note
This picture was taken in Chicago's Grant Park. In the foreground is Buckingham Fountain whose lights change colors every few minutes. The Fountain also shoots out a sprout of water that goes about 75 feet into the air.
On the left side of the pic is the Sears Tower. The clouds you see in the sky are actually smoke coming from the fireworks that are fired off from the Navy Pier on Saturday nights.

I love the colors-especially at night. Like leo1, I too miss that park. I used to go the Chicago on summers and always enjoyed it-my last time was in 1999.
Excellent color and exposure time. Your angle caught the fountain as well as the Sears Tower. Good shot!
