Photographer's Note
This one is for the girls that like to have a surfer like this on there screen saver and maybe help him out by waxing his board! I need more surfer chicks so I could get there photos as well.
Take care Richard.

Nice capture here Richard. You used an underwater cading for this shot right? I've seen a few shots like this as of late and they seem to do that.
I think that this photo could do with a bit of sharpening as it looks a little soft. Did you crop it heavily? I'm not sure what you think of sharpening water, but i find it gives it a little 'character.' I see the wave and the surfer as being equally important here.
Thanks

W O W !!! incredible moment! you got an amazing picture. The water is beautiful, with the reflection of the surfer in the "calm" side of the wave and the chaos in the other side!! Lovely! I will set it as my wallpaper ;)

I love this capture. I like the softness, it gives it almost a dreamy feeling, very artistic.

A lovely boy indeed!! a good way to shot a portrait!! :-))
And .. WOW!! what a picture! you show us motion so well! It should be very difficult to be in a kayak in the waves and shot so well, so sharp, for me it is a myracle ! Yes, I am no more a girl :-/ but I'd like to have it as a screensaver!

A dynamic shot. I know you must have a very good reflex as well as a good patience to capture it. I like the body language of the person. It shows lot of vigor .
Well done,

Hi Richard
I am enjoying this picture indeed! Great action shot with the guy coming out through the tube. Again I love the blues here, the cute guy is a nice bonus! YOu caught the right expression of excitement and enjoyment on his face. Well done!

Hi Richard,
Now I know you've got a 75-300mm lens but still, I can't imagine you getting this shot unless you were on a pretty steady jetski or in the water, hopefully with a waterproof contraception to protect your DSLR. With so many movement how does the auto focus manage to do it... I'll try it for my self. I have just been using the sports mode on mine.

Incredible nice shot!
Perfectly caught the moment.
And I guess the boys also want a shot like this, but then with themselves riding the waves of course... ;-)
