Photographer's Note

It is just a small house, but I found the colour amazing.

One of the typical features of the landscape in Holland are the mills. The most famous are the mills of Kinderdijk but it was too far to go. Instead, I went to Zaanse Schans that is also a nice place near Amsterdam.

After Wiki:
Zaanse Schans is a neighbourhood of Zaandam, near Zaandijk in the municipality of Zaanstad in the province of North Holland. It has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses; the ca. 35 houses from all over the Zaanstreek were moved to the museum area in the 1970s. The windmills were built after 1574.
