Photographer's Note

This is another unique festival. During the two days of the festival, one boy and one girl become "incarnation" of the God. Now she is fine and funny, but through the series of the traditional ritual ceremony. For two days she is prohibited getting down the ground. Now she is so lovely and funny but she transform herself soon.

I am so amazed by all these very strange Japanese festivals. This composition createsa very nice triangle with fine contrasts of white and red. There are three interesting faces to watch. The girl is certainly the prettiest.

A very good picture! The three faces here form a perfect triangle and the strong red and green colours are also perfect. A very pretty, and obviously very happy girl. What do the two dots on her forehead symbolize?

Hi Takero, The rituals on the Japanese festival are very strange. So this girl is carried tow days, without touching the ground? What about sleeping?? She is smiling but the men look already tired. Do they change? Interesting triangle composition, strong contrast of white and red. Amazing photo.
