Photographer's Note
Pope Clement XIV founded the Pio-Clementino Vatican museum in 1771, and originally it contained the Renaissance and antique works. The museum and collection were enlarged by Clement's successor Pius VI. Today, the museum houses works of Greek and Roman sculpture.
There are 54 galleries, or "salas" in total, with the Sistine Chapel, notably, being the very last sala within the Museum - visitors need to proceed through the other 53 salas before earning their reward with access to the Sistine.
This photo is from Sala Rotonda, which is shaped like a miniature Pantheon, the room has impressive ancient mosaics on the floors, and ancient statues lining the perimeter, including a gilded bronze statue of Hercules, this one belonging to Athena (or Roman Minerva).

Hello Deniz,
Original and well chosen POV to show us the interior of the dome with the statue of Minverva on the foreground. You're right with the title of the picture. It looks like this statue has a crown.
The colour contrast is nice between the light coloured dome and the darker part at the bottom of the picture.
Well done.
Best regards, Paul

Merhaba Mr Deniz
Long time no see, I see you've been busy travelling, here I find the below framing very effective to put your subject in a dominant position and the indoors quality is very good

ciao deniz,
what a perspective - your shot is so symmetrical, so clean and balanced that it would be perfect for those high-quality art catalogues published by Electa...
the Catholic Church knew best when it came to stage art - all for God's glory, of course... :)
sometimes I think we Italians don't really know what we have at home - it takes the fresh look from an "outsider" to appreciate again the beauty of certain classics.
have a good day,
c.

hi Deniz
pity, really, that we didn't meet in Rome...I was on the other side of the world, though, so for the next attempt I will have to fly to Turkey and contact you :-)
as for this one, it's someone nobody has ever thought. Everbody who goes there, look up and take tons of pics (only) to that hole. This one is different, your attentive eye worked well here and seemed to be very happy behind your camera.
TFS and have a good day!

Hello Deniz,
It's an excellent shot from the bottom to the top of a dome. I like the composition with a statue of Athena in brown color and a golden dome above her. You handled very well a light management that shows all details perfectly. Also your note is very interesting.
Tfs and best regards,
Zbigniew
