Photographer's Note

On my way back to Montreal, I've made a quick stop at Point Atkinson in Vancouver to visit the magnificent park and catch a last sunset on the west coast of Canada.

Point Atkinson is found at the tip of Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver, entrance to the vast Burrard Inlet. This site is a fantastic vantage point for getting a glimpse of all the indigenous marine life... and black bears too.

P.S. 1: There's no tilt in the image, but the pines slightly grow inclined due to the constant powerful winds.

P.S. 2: Tripod used for long exposure and to defend myself in case of black bears encountering...

P.S. 3: I always knew that Canada was the second largest country in the world, but only when you drive it back and forth from East to West do you realize what the word "large" really means...
