Photographer's Note

This is portion of a gigantic sandpit built within the DisABILITY play ground at Sydney Park. At one location in the sandpit is a small electronic eye water outlet that when children run their hand over the 'eye' water comes out for a short period of time - this allows children to feel as though they are at the beach as the water mixes in with the sand. What a great idea :)

2007 / 2008 an all-abilities children’s playground was constructed and is now used by many children. The new state-of- the-art playground (officially opened December 2008) allows all children, including those who use wheelchairs and those who have hearing and sight impairments, to enjoy the playground.
