A litle beach in Sveti Naum in Ohrid.
Sveti Naum is the first Macedonian school of higher learning, wrote the earliest works of Macedonian literature, and, with St. Naum, translated the Scriptures into Macedonian . The 10th-century monastery of Sveti Naum (St. Naum), about 19 miles (31 km) of Ohrid.
The monastery was established in the year 905 by St Naum of Ohrid himself. St Naum is also buried in the church.
The monastery is among the most popular destinations in the Republic of Macedonia. There is a hotel, and several restaurants operating in warmer days, from early spring until late autumn.
