Photographer's Note
On a weekend visit to San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato, my wife and I were walking along Calle Zacateros, browsing the wonderful shops, when I saw this lovely little house. I immediately saw its photographic potential and fired off a few shots, until I took this one. It's one of my favorites from San Miguel.
San Miguel is a wonderful town to visit. Lots of American influence, but still plenty Mexican enough to be very charming. I personally preferred Guanajuato, but my wife preferred San Miguel, and I have to say that San Miguel was a wonderful spot.

Hi Clark!
A simple theme, but beautifully done! Well seen, and you have created just perfect colors along with spot on detail and exposure to make a very appealing canvas! I love San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato also. I was first in San Miguel in 1969, then again for a number of weeks in 1981, and then again for a couple of months in 1993....ah but not a photographer then....sad. I fear it may be too pricy for me now anyway, but still a very beautiful place. I agree with you, that Guanajuato is in some ways even more exciting and ornate, specially the way it spans a canyon! Fine work, warm regards,
Steve

Ola senor Clark,
Classic representation, bold Mexican colours and some good textures (e.g. the curb). A weekend visit to Guanajato, that sounds so exotic to my European ears...
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Clark,
Perhaps a frequently seen theme, but so very well done! Just perfectly framed. Nice interesting orange facade. Pretty with the stones in the street and sidewalk. What I like the best: the sloping street contrasting with the perfectly horizontal and vertical lines.
Cheers,
Claude

Good shot, Clark.
San Miguel de Allende is really a photogenic town. I have been there several times.

I really like this picture... good colour saturation, nice contrast and excellent framing that flows well with the eye. I've always loved the colonial architecture in the old mexican towns.
