Photographer's Note

Some may recognize the pattern and diminishing perspective from this structure almost instantly, but if not, I’ll give you an easy clue…it’s the tallest, most recognizable and well known San Francisco building because of its triangular design. If that doesn’t give it away, I’ve included a WS picture that should do the trick.

Oh, who am I kidding, I can’t keep a secret…it’s the famous Transamerica Pyramid, seen in just about every skyline picture ever taken of the “City by the Bay.” :) A source of great pride to locals, the building has become an icon of San Francisco recognized worldwide, along with the city's famous cable cars and the Golden Gate Bridge.

The building's façade is covered in crushed quartz, giving the exterior a bright color. It also boasts 3,678 windows…don’t quite think I got all of ‘em in this frame though. Don’t stare at it too long however, it’ll make your eyes bug out. lol

Thanks for stopping by.
