Those guys in red coats knew to "escape" on the right moment, the swell hit the rocks in full force, towering high as in contrast to the light-tower, and very imposing moment which you collected masterfully.

Hello Jean,

This is like some huge explosion ... well, I suppose it is, as the wave explodes over the rocks and the sea wall.
It is a remarkable shot, showing this huge wave, frozen in time but it does reveal the enormous power of nature. Just imagine this harnessed for electrical power!!
You were fortunate to have a lady dressed in red to give f/g interest before the sight of the huge wave is realised!
It must have been a thrilling experience as well a great photographic experience!

Hello Jean,
Seeing people standing so close to the splashing wave looks slightly dangerous, but they provided you with a very dramatic photo and you timed it well. This could have been a nice photo even on a quiet day, because the lighthouse looks good and the view across the bay should be quite beautiful. Having two persons dressed in red in the foreground is a clear advantage to the photo.

J'ai vu cela au 20 heures hier soir. La tempête hivernale qui s'attaquait aux murs et maison de Saint Malo. C'est humide et salé sur le moment, mais cela fait de la très belle photo.

Hi Jean,
That's one massive wave hitting the seaside barrier. You captured it at the highest point. All the spray is clearly visible on sidelight. People there are turning away to keep dry adding more action. That lighthouse looks nice too.

Great reflection, to capture the moment when this great wave hits the coast and in this case, sweep the road where those two people seemed to go, under these conditions the sea is dangerous, beautiful the effect of the great wave and just side the lighthouse.
A pretty colorful, powering image.

nice to have the people there too, hopefully nobody gets washed away into the ocean! I know its happened before.

for me, the two best parts are the waves crashing and the lighthouse which looks kinda funky :)
