Photographer's Note

Another photo from the theme cows in India. This time the view from Pushkar.
Pushkar is one of the five sacred dhams (pilgrimage site) for devout Hindus. The story goes that when Sati died, Lord Shiva cried so much and for so long, that his tears created two holy ponds – one at Pushkara in Ajmer in India and the other at Ketaksha.
Pushkar is one of the oldest existing cities of India. It lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake.
Well, we had a hotel named Lake View, there was a view but no lake, all the water was gone :(.

Pushkar is famous for its Camel Fair but we were not in this time.
It was rather vegan town. There was no meat to find and also the eggs seemed forbidden. So what is the use of these cows?? I have no idea, maybe a source of the fuel from the dung.
