bonjour Grazyna,
I like your last shots on this event - they both convey the mood of the dancing couples and the atmosphere of the urban setting. here I like very much the girl's expression and her posture, as well as the frozen moment of the other dancer.
I was reading your previous note about the 5D - I am a Nikon kid myself and I must say that the few times I tried a a (borrowed) Canon, I could not work with it... using the same settings yields dramatically different results... funny, isn't it?

Ha ha Grazyna, you have brought in the forgotten trade mark of the TE;motion blurr. Shot of precise moment!,but why is he so heavily dressed?
The fountains behind the girl confuses a bit, but thats another inadvertent POV of yours, which does drift the eyes to it.

nice dynamics in this one. The couples gesture and movement contributes a lot to this feeling.
Funny title this one you found as we don't associate the pre-nuptial music to this kind of movements/dance.

I've read that you are not liking your new 5d mkii well I have the 50d with the 18-200mm mounted if you want to exchange :)
No kidding now, I think you must give a bit because it surelly is a great camera and the same for the lenses, the L series from canon are among the best choices in the market.
When I bought my 50D I was changing from an 8MP Olympus, ad had the same feeling as you, lack of sharpness, contrast so so, slow to focus on automatic but with time you'll get used to it and surelly you will like it.
Still about the auto mode, on this matter you're right, I never had the photo focused where i wanted, until I lost a bit of time and read the manual as it always focus on the closest subject.
One last suggestion, leave the auto mode and go for manual, you'll see that in "2 seconds" the quality will increase dramatically.

Back to the photo, I like it but I would like to see more contrast, explaining myself, something that would make it look as modern as the couple's dance.
I tried a WS which I leave you, trying to express the idea, I hope you don't mind and btw tell me what you think.
