Photographer's Note

This small urban beach was elaborated from tons of imported sand dumped on a wasteland at the foot of Le Quai de l'Horloge. From left to right across the marina for pleasure boats; appartments building for VIPs, the Molson brewery and the Jacques-Cartier bridge over the Saint-Laurent River. At the left hand side a narrower sand strip as long as the marina itself completes the whole which is intended for sunbathers only, no possibility to bathe anywhere given the depth of the harbour waters.
