Désalpe à La Fouly, a photo from Valais, West

Bonjour,

Ce week-end, sous la pluie, de nombreuses désalpes se sont déroulées, le vaches descendent de la montagnes pour regagner leurs quartiers de plaine.
C'est une tradition, c'est la fête, les éleveurs recoivent les fromages de leur vaches qui ont passé tout l'été à la montagnes.

C'est la désalpe de la Fouly dans le Val Ferret, quatre troupeaux, qualtre alpages différents ont traversé le village.

Cette dame a visiblement fait une touche.

Tu es un vrai chroniqueur photographique de la vie en Valais!
J'ai l'impression que c'est plutôt le monsieur qui intéresse la "belle"; d'ailleurs son mec(je suppose!) a l'air assez furax. Joli instantané et bonnes photos de reportage.

good capture. The people are visibly nervous although they are smiling. I can imagine with such strong animals passing.

Elles ont des rgosses bouilles sympathiques , ces vaches d'hérens . Ca y est , c'est la désalpe sous la pluie . Elles sont dans le village , mais je suppose qu'elles vont remonter dnas les mayens pour l'automne .

Une scène traditionnelle bien captée avec cet amusante rencontre entre la dame un peu effarouchée et la vache qui, malgré un regard sévère, ne cherche qu'à sympathiser.

A nice funny street life scene. It looks more like India where the cows and bulls are loose and roaming on the streets. This one bull seems to be interested in the people. Nice capture with sgharpness.

This is a very difficult choice between the different pictures.
I find the best or the three the "Altered Image #1", this is a personal choice of me.
Excellent series of these manifestation.
You play excellent with light and colors.
Sharpness and clarity are lovely for look at.

Les vaches font moins peur que dans les rues espagnoles quand on laisse libres les taureaux d'écraser les gens à leur guise. Ici, c'est le grand calme et elles viennent nous manger dans les mains. Un beau cadrage.

Superbe cet évènement dans le Valais, c'est vraiment sympat, quoique l'avoir aussi près cela doit être impressionnant, j'aime les enfants et le décor sur le char, et puis les deux beauté, difficile de dire laquelle est la plus belle :-))

this is a very nice scene which makes me smile :) I can imagine the atmosphere very well! When I was in Engelberg in 1999 I was as close to cows in the mountains as these people are in your photo :)
I like the reaction of the lady with a small camera in her hand! the cow seems to be wishing to make friends with her? :)

Old memories, yes I remember well the cows with their heavy bells walking in the village street, while people is watching them. Nice candid capture of the cow and the women, both seem to communicate with each other. Well done.

What a great scene! It makes me smile, and has so many nice details. I really like the two cows in the foreground: one who seems bored and is walking away, and the other one who wants to make friends with the lady. :-) Her expression is funny, too. The street also looks very charming, with the wooden buildings.
