Two month ago I was in Kortrijk, special on photo hunt, the Boda bridge (close to the centre of the city) was a décor for cooking during a sunny day, cooking on solar energy, everyone was welcome.

Cooking on solar energy: electronically controlled barbecue
The design itself is built around a parabolic form of reflective material that is bent into a parabolic shape. The result is a focal point.
The solar rays are hereby brought together so that a high bake temperature of 220 ° C is achieved.
In this construction, it is necessary that the sun's rays always fall at right angles to the device. By means of sensors and the necessary electronics parabolic structure is automatically directed to the sunlight and it works completely autonomously.
The energy to drive the motor is also drawn directly from the sunlight via photovoltaic cells.
