When the sun goes down ..., a photo from Chiba, Kanto

Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken at the foot of bridge who adjoins the seaside park in Kisarazu in Chiba Prefecture. This zone faces Tokyo Bay and the point which crossed the bridge is flooding Keiyo industrial area, such as oil industrial complex and an iron mill. Exactly, the day was sinking, and a sky near a horizon was dyed evening glow and wrapped in orange. In the road of the bridge, the car of a headlight and a taillight was scuttling the inside of twilight. And, the airplane passes calmly the sky which has thick clouds occasionally. Probably, it is an airplane which bypasses Boso Peninsula and goes to Haneda Airport. After a while, since the circumference was wrapped in darkness, I attached to way home.

The sun sinks below the horizon, and the plane rises into the sky, and people go home, it's an interesting situation, taken at the right time. The colors are superb. Good quality. Bravo.

Hello Mikio,
A well chosen low POV and very fine evening colours. The lampposts make fine silhouettes against the sky and the airplane at the top is a good detail. It helps to keep the composition together.

I like very much the atmosphere in this photo, the last few minutes of daylight captured in a wonderful way. I also like the composition which combines the traffic on the street with the flight of the aeroplane above. Different means of transport, different destinations, movement, lovely theme. The framing and sense of depth on the ground are great. The lighting posts add to the superb perspective. Well done!

A delightful sunset in brilliant tone near the horizon among the grey threatening sky the textures and shapes of the patterns are most quiet attractive. Timely shot with inclusion of the aircraft I feel this lifts the image to higher level while the low foreground with speck of bright lighting adds further interest and beauty.
