Photographer's Note

The walls of several kilometers encompass the city, tracing an irregular polygon. The first walls were built in the Middle Ages, but present come mostly from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The old town of Dubrovnik is a UNESCO heritage site, was specifically addressed the main street Stradun called Placa.

Height walls of Dubrovnik reaches 22 m, width of the land goes back to 4-6 m, and the sea is 1.5-3 m. Fortifications team consists of fourteen towers, two round towers, two fortresses and four bastions. Note the monumental, towering over the city Minceta tower. Arouse the admiration of not less Bokar and St. tower. Luke and, perhaps the most powerful of them, Lovrijenac.
