Photographer's Note

This is a monastery of Santo Augustin in Cuzco. Here we can see the walls build by Incas and a colonial Catholic temple in the top.In this place was located the main Inca temple that was covered with a monastery after spaniards arrived. A big earthquake put down some old colonials walls and this way the walls and little temples build by Incas were shown. The rounded wall near the church is fantastic. If you will visit Cuzco someday, don´t miss this place. It is like a explanation about how Peru we know today was build. That grey inca wall we can see was covered with a strip of gold when spaniards arrived.
