Inside a Romanian church, a photo from Arges, West

Photographer's Note

The Romanian monasteries, specially the painted ones, are very beautiful seen from outside. And inside they are just marvelous. All walls covered with frescoes, usually in golden tones, dark, and with Christ Pantocrator in the dome. When there were some monks or nuns or other people praying, the atmosphere was incredible.
I was astonished to see how religious thre people in Romania are. And they build as many new churches as in Poland, it was a surprise for me.
In most churches it was not allowed to make photos. And the light was also not good enough. I had no tripod and there was nothing to put the camera. Nevertheless, in some cases when you could make photos, I tried. It is an inside view of the important church in Curtea de Arges.

Hi Malgorzata.

I understand that you couldn't make it sharp, but it's still a good job holding it as steady as this. The architecture is pretty different from here in Norway, much more decorations. You've chosen a good POV that show a pretty big part of the church. TFS.

Salut.
It's superb and is very well made. One of continuation is attracted by the dominant color, gilded well, framing greenhouse is excellent and the discovery is worth the blow.

Hello Malgorzata, Nothing wrong with this picture. Very well done. Probably if you would have shot this in RAW, you could have corrected the lighting a bit. Nevertheless, a handheld shot at 1/2 sec is excellent. The picture is so bright and lovely it is hard to find any blur. Ha ha. So no report on your dog bite, so one must assume you have almost recovered. Regards, Roger

Salutare Malgorzata! Bylas w Curtea de Arges! I slyszalas legende o mistrzu Manole! Piekny klasztor! A w cerkwi z ruinami zamku krolewskiego, z drugiej strony miasteczka tez bylas? Spedzialem w Curtea kilka dni i spotkalem sie tam z wielka zyczliwoscia. Piekne zdjecie. Chciaby sie jeszcze raz do Rumunii. Klaniam sie!

Fantastic view of the interiors. Though slightly blurred & one can easily understand why, the contrast of the gilded colour & the red plus the details of the rich artwork is amazing.
